Getting started

How to Use Nihongo Flight

A quick guide for new students.

1

Log in to your account

Use your Nihongo Flight account so your course access, progress, quiz history, and submissions can be saved.

2

Open your dashboard

Your Dashboard is the starting point for current courses, progress, quiz results, notifications, and support options.

3

Go to My Courses

My Courses shows the courses you can access. Paid courses unlock after admin approval, while free courses can be started when published.

4

Start your lesson

Open a lesson from your course page and follow the learning sections in order.

5

Complete lesson sections

Work through vocabulary, grammar, reading, listening, the lesson quiz, and the final mission so your progress is clear.

6

Take quizzes

Use lesson quizzes and review activities to check what you remember and see where you need more practice.

7

Submit missions

Missions help you apply Japanese in real situations. Download the worksheet, complete the task, and submit your work when required.

8

Practice in Flight Deck

Flight Deck gives you extra practice through games and review tools like Memory Trainer, Grammar Millionaire, and Adjective Puzzle.

9

Practice Kana and Kanji

Use Kana Writing Practice for Hiragana and Katakana. Use Beginner Kanji N5 for kanji categories, examples, flashcards, and quizzes.

10

Ask for support when needed

Use your available support hours or session request options when you need clarification or guidance from a sensei.

Ready for takeoff

Start with one course, one lesson, and one practice habit.

You do not need to rush. Open your dashboard, continue your current lesson, then use Flight Deck, Kana Writing, and Kanji practice to strengthen what you learned.
